My role involved leading the Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategy to boost the website’s organic search visibility, ensuring higher rankings for key HR-related search terms. This included optimizing technical SEO, managing on-page elements, analyzing user behavior, and refining strategies to drive qualified traffic and improve overall site performance.

I managed the Search Engine Optimization (SEO) efforts for MiHCM, focusing on enhancing organic visibility, driving qualified traffic, and improving search rankings across key regions like Sri Lanka, Malaysia, and the Philippines. The objective was to position MiHCM prominently for relevant HR software and payroll system queries to attract potential customers.

Project execution

  • Conducted thorough keyword research and analysis to identify high-value terms related to HR and payroll software.
  • Optimized on-page elements (meta tags, headings, and content) and ensured the website’s technical SEO was up to par, including fixing site speed issues and optimizing mobile responsiveness.
  • Improved organic rankings for key target keywords such as “HR software”, “HRIS systems”, and “payroll system”, achieving higher visibility in Google search results.
  • Leveraged Google Search Console and Google Analytics to monitor website performance, track keyword rankings, and analyze traffic trends.
